B.A.,  Cert. Counselling & Psychotherapy.

Working now from : 126 Ranelagh Village, Dublin 6

My approach is humanistic and integrative, drawing on a number of theories and methods

with the aim of working with each client in a way that is best suited to their individual needs.

I am a trained teacher of Mindfulness-based Approaches and offer courses in MBSR (Mindfulness-based

Stress Reduction) to groups and one-to-one.  If it feels right for a client, I may integrate the teaching of

mindfulness practices into individual sessions as a support to psychotherapy.

I work with people aged 16 and upwards.

I have worked for the last 12 years in the mental health sector, supporting individuals

(and families) as they try to make sense of challenging times in their lives and find their

path(s) towards more satisfying and more joyful living.

Prior to working in the mental health sector, I lectured in Dublin City University in the

School of Applied Language and Intercultural Studies.

Having worked for a number of years with Bodywhys - the Irish Association for Eating

Disorders, I have experience in the field of eating disorders and related issues.

I work to the Code of Ethics of the Irish Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (IACP).

My Mobile Number is 086 0619251.
